Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply to all purchases from giraffevolt.shop, operated by GiraffeVolt ("we", "us"). Contact: support@giraffevolt.shop. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

2. Orders

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. The contract is concluded when we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline an order, for example if a product is out of stock or a price was displayed incorrectly because of a clear error. In that case we'll tell you and refund any payment in full.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order, using the payment methods shown at checkout.

4. Delivery

We deliver to the countries of the European Union. Delivery options, costs and times are described in our Shipping Policy. We bear the risk of loss or damage until the goods are delivered to you.

5. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. See our Returns & Refunds policy for details and the model withdrawal form.

6. Legal guarantee

All products come with a 2-year legal guarantee against defects that existed at the time of delivery. If a product is faulty, contact us and we'll repair, replace or refund it in line with applicable law.

7. Installation and safe use

Wall box chargers and any equipment connected to your home's fixed wiring must be installed by a qualified electrician, in line with local regulations. Portable chargers must only be used with suitable, properly rated sockets. Always follow the product manual and safety instructions. Some countries require home chargers to be registered with the local grid operator.

8. Liability

We are liable in accordance with applicable law. We are not liable for damage caused by improper installation, use contrary to the manual, or modifications to the product. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Personal data

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@giraffevolt.shop and we'll do our best to resolve it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without depriving consumers of the protection of mandatory laws of their country of residence. Consumers may also contact the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) or the consumer protection authority in their own country.
