The One Most European Drivers Should Buy

11 kW is the sweet spot for home charging: it fills almost any EV overnight, it charges at the full speed nearly every modern car accepts, and unlike 22 kW it usually needs only a notification to your grid operator rather than prior approval.

Will It Charge My Car at Full Speed?

Yes, if your car accepts 11 kW AC — which most do: BYD Dolphin, BYD Atto 3, BYD Seal, Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, VW ID.3 / ID.4 / ID.5, Škoda Enyaq, Kia EV6, Kia Niro EV, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Hyundai Kona, Volvo EX30, Polestar 2, MG4, BMW i4, Mercedes EQA, Audi Q4 e-tron, Peugeot e-208, Fiat 500e and many more.

Cars limited to single-phase charging (Nissan Leaf, Dacia Spring, most plug-in hybrids) will charge at their own lower speed — the charger still works, it simply delivers what the car asks for.

How Long Does It Take?

Roughly 50–60 km of range per hour. A typical 60 kWh battery goes from 20% to full in about 4.5 hours — comfortably overnight.

Key Features

  • 11 kW three-phase, 16 A per phase
  • 4.3" colour LCD showing live charging status
  • Three ways to start: plug and play, NFC card, or smartphone app
  • Built-in RCD: 30 mA AC (Type A), or 30 mA AC plus 6 mA DC (Type A + 6) — which usually saves the cost of a separate Type B breaker
  • IP65, rated for outdoor wall mounting
  • 5 m Type 2 cable attached

Installation and Registration

A wall box must be installed by a qualified electrician on its own circuit. In most of Europe an 11 kW charger only has to be notified to the local grid operator, while 22 kW usually needs approval in advance — one of the main practical reasons people choose 11 kW. Your electrician normally handles the paperwork.

Safety Features

  • Over-voltage, under-voltage and over-load protection
  • Leakage and ground fault protection
  • Over-temperature, lightning, short-circuit and surge protection
  • Flame-retardant housing

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 11 kW enough, or should I take 22 kW?
For home use, 11 kW is enough for almost everyone and it fully recharges a normal EV overnight. 22 kW only helps if your car actually accepts 22 kW AC, or several drivers share the charger during the day.

Do I need a three-phase supply?
Yes. On a single-phase supply, choose our 7 kW model instead. Your electrician can tell you in a moment which you have.

What does the NFC card do?
It stops anyone else starting a charge — useful on a shared driveway or in an apartment building.

Can I use it outdoors?
Yes. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, so it is made for an outside wall.
