A portable power station is a giant rechargeable battery in a box — with sockets on the outside. Charge it from the wall, from solar panels or from your car, and use it to run anything from a phone to a fridge to a power tool, anywhere there's no mains.

Our PUFA range covers everything from 300 W weekend campers to 2400 W expandable home backup systems. Every unit uses LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry — safer, longer-lasting and more cold-tolerant than the lithium-ion in older power stations.

Designed for home use when the grid fails — winter storms, planned outages, grid instability. Big enough to keep a fridge, boiler controls, internet router and lighting running through a typical European power cut.

•         PUFA BP1500 — 1500 W continuous — the home essentials package. Fridge + freezer + lights + Wi-Fi for 6–10 hours.

•         PUFA BP2400 — 2400 W, expandable to 5.12 kWh — pairs with additional batteries for whole-day backup. Solar-ready.

LiFePO4 — The Battery Chemistry That Matters

Older portable power stations used NMC lithium-ion — energy-dense but with a limited cycle life and real fire risk. Modern stations like ours use LiFePO4, which trades a small amount of energy density for huge gains in safety, longevity and cold-weather performance.

Frequently Asked — Backup Power

How long will a 500 Wh power station run my fridge?

A typical European A-class fridge uses ~40 W average. A 500 Wh station will run it for roughly 10–12 hours. For overnight protection during a power cut, that's enough. For multi-day outages, look at the BP1500 or BP2400.

Can I charge it from solar?

Yes — all PUFA stations have MPPT solar input. We sell compatible 100 W, 200 W and 400 W foldable panels; any MC4-output panel within the station's voltage range also works.

Is it safe to use indoors?

Yes. Unlike a petrol generator, a battery power station produces no exhaust and no noise. LiFePO4 chemistry is the safest large-format lithium battery in commercial use today.

Can I take it on a plane?

No. All our power stations exceed the 100 Wh airline limit for carry-on lithium batteries. They are not allowed in checked luggage either. Ship via ground freight only.
