GiraffeVolt is a home for green energy. I believe in two simple ideas: green energy is the right path forward, and nobody should pay more for electricity than they have to. That is the whole reason this shop exists.
Why I started GiraffeVolt
I spent years watching the energy market change — solar panels got cheaper every year, batteries got better, electric cars went from a curiosity to a normal choice. But in Estonia and across Europe, I kept seeing the same thing: good green-energy products that could lower people's bills were either hard to find, poorly explained, or priced like luxuries.
GiraffeVolt is my answer to that. Honest products, clear specifications, prices that make sense, and advice that tells you when you can buy the smaller, cheaper option.
Three ways we help you spend less on energy
- Solar lighting — your garden, driveway and paths lit without a single kilowatt from the grid. No electrician, no wiring, no bill increase.
- Home EV charging — charge at home overnight, when electricity is at its lowest price. Usually cheaper than any public charger.
- Backup power — a power station that keeps the fridge, router and lights running during a cut, and doubles as a camping or festival battery the rest of the year.
Caring for your EV and enjoying the ride
Energy savings are only part of the story. We also carry two product lines that have nothing to do with your electricity bill and everything to do with the car itself:
- EV care kits — cleaning and care products made for electric cars: safe around the charging port, gentle on sensors and cameras, and formulated for the paintwork, glass and alloys of modern EVs.
- EV lifestyle accessories — the small things that make the daily drive and the weekend trip nicer: cable organisers, charging-port covers, boot organisers, phone mounts and more.
How we choose products
Every product we list is CE-marked, and we publish full specifications — capacity in watt-hours, cycles, protection class, cable length, everything — so you can compare with anything else on the market before you buy. We don't hide numbers behind marketing words.
Honest advice
Not sure which charger or battery fits your needs? Our guides walk through the real questions (how many kilometres a day, how many devices for how long), and we will happily recommend the smaller, cheaper option when that is the right one for you.
We're launching soon — here's exactly what that means
GiraffeVolt is a new store, and I'm being straight with you about where we are: the website is almost ready, and I'm placing the first inventory order — a selection of EV wall boxes and portable chargers, portable power stations, EV care kits and lifestyle accessories. The Estonian company (OÜ) will be formally registered the moment the first stock lands in our warehouse near Tallinn.
Until then every product shows as "sold out" — not because they aren't real, but because I don't take money for something I can't ship this week. Sign up for early access and you'll be the first to know when stock arrives, with launch pricing.
