Charging It From Solar

• Solar input: up to 400 W (MPPT).
• Recommended: two of our 200 W folding panels — the manufacturer's own recommended pairing.

• During an outage, two panels can put back most of what the fridge uses overnight, day after day.

Not a Home Battery — and That Is a Good Thing

It is not wired into your house, so no electrician, no permit, no installation cost. You plug appliances directly into it, and it moves with you.

Questions People Ask

Can I use it for medical equipment?
Its pure sine wave output suits devices such as CPAP machines, and a 40 W device runs for about five nights. For anything life-critical, confirm the requirements with your equipment supplier and keep a second backup.

What does 2,400 W mean in practice?
Add up what runs at the same time. A fridge, lights, a router and a laptop together are a few hundred watts. A kettle is around 2,000 W — so boil it on its own, then plug the rest back in.

Can I add an extra battery later?
No. The TD2400 does not support expansion batteries.

How long will the battery last?
The manufacturer rates it to keep about 80% of its capacity after 800 full charge cycles. As a backup unit that is only fully cycled during outages, that takes many years.

Can I charge it in winter?
It runs down to -20°C, but should be charged between 0°C and 40°C. Kept indoors between outages, it is always ready.

How heavy is it?
24 kg, with carry handles. Two people or a trolley for stairs.

Will it run my whole house?
No — only what you plug into it, which covers the essentials in an outage.
