How far does the sensor reach?
Roughly 3 to 5 metres, which suits a door, a gate or the edge of a driveway.
Does it stay on all night?
No — it lights up on movement and goes out again shortly after. That is what makes a small battery last the whole night.
Does it work in an Estonian winter?
Better than any all-night light, because it only uses power when someone walks past. In December, with about six hours of weak daylight, expect fewer and shorter activations. A south-facing wall with no shade makes the biggest difference.
How bright is 400 lumens?
