How far does the sensor reach?
It detects movement at roughly 3 to 5 metres — right for a door, a gate or a driveway entrance.
Does it stay on all night?
It lights up on movement and switches off again shortly after, which is what makes the charge last. That is normal for this type of light.
Does it work in the rain?
Yes, IP65 — built for permanent outdoor use in rain and snow.
Do I need one for each side of the house?
Usually yes. Each light covers the area it faces, and because there is no wiring, adding a second one is just two more screws.
Does it work in an Estonian winter?
Better than any all-night light, because it only uses power when someone walks past. In December, with about six hours of weak daylight, expect fewer and shorter activations. A south-facing wall with no shade makes the biggest difference.
