Charging It From a Solar Panel
- Solar input: up to 200 W, 12–60 V, via the DC5521 port (MPPT).
- Recommended panel: our 200 W folding panel — the manufacturer's own recommended pairing. In good sun it refills the station in roughly 3–4 hours: one sunny morning.
- Travelling light? Our 100 W panel works too and weighs 4.3 kg; expect roughly 6–8 hours for a full charge.
- Angle beats wattage: tilt the panel towards the sun and move it during the day.

Why It Costs More Than a Cheap Power Bank
Grade-A LiFePO4 cells, rated by the manufacturer to keep about 80% of their capacity after 800 full charge cycles (a full cycle every week for about 15 years), a real 230 V pure sine wave socket, and 100 W USB-C that charges a laptop directly.
Questions People Ask
Can I use it while it is charging?
Yes. It has a bidirectional inverter and a UPS function, so it powers devices and recharges at the same time, and takes over automatically if the mains drops.
Can it charge my laptop without the AC adapter?
Yes, if your laptop charges over USB-C: the 100 W USB-C port handles most laptops directly.
Can I charge it in freezing weather?
It runs down to -10°C, but should only be charged between 0°C and 40°C. In a cold tent or car, let it warm up before plugging in the panel.
Can I take it on a plane?
No — 512Wh is far above the airline limit of 100–160Wh.
Is it safe indoors?
Yes. No fumes and almost no noise.
