A Lantern for the Tent, the Balcony or a Power Cut
Pull the top up and it becomes a lantern; push it down and it packs flat. It charges from the sun or from a USB cable, which matters more than it sounds: when the weather is grey, you can still top it up from a power bank or a laptop before you leave.
Good For
- Camping, tents and caravans
- The balcony, the garden table, a summer evening
- A drawer at home, for the next power cut
Questions People Ask
Can I charge it without sun?
Yes. There is a USB charging cable in the box, so a power bank, a laptop or a wall charger all work.
Can I dim it?
Yes, it has a dimmer, so you can run it low for hours inside a tent or bright when you need to see.
Can it stay out in the rain?
It is IP55, which handles splashes and light rain. It is not built to sit outside through a storm.
Is it any use in a power cut?
That is one of the best reasons to own one. Keep it charged in a drawer and it is a light source that needs no mains power at all. If you want to keep a fridge and the internet running as well, look at our backup power stations.
